High number of patients with respiratory illnesses
Tallaght University Hospital is one of five acute hospitals in the HSE Dublin and Midlands region experiencing “a high number of patients with respiratory viral illnesses, such as Influenza, RSV and COVID-19.”
To reduce the spread of those illnesses, the HSE implemented visiting restrictions in hospitals, which will be lifted “as soon as possible when clinical circumstances allow.”
