Investigation into firebomb attack on gym

GARDAI are investigating a firebomb attack on a gym in Ballyfermot after it was targeted with petrol-filled bottles, reports Maurice Garvey.
The incident occurred on Monday night at the Colosseum Gym in Kylemore Park South.

No one was in the gym at the time of the attack, which gardai are treating as an act of criminal damage.
An area near the front of the gym was blackened and torched in the incident.
A Garda spokesman said they are “investigating an incident of criminal damage by fire of a business premises which occurred in Kylemore Park South, June 8, at approximately 10:30pm.
“The scene is preserved for technical examination. No injuries have been reported. No arrests have been made. Investigations are ongoing.”
