Jim Gavin to remain as Dublin boss for another two years
Dublin GAA have announced that Jim Gavin has agreed to remain as manager of the Dublin Senior Football team for another two years.
The Clondalkin man has been at the helm of the hugely successful side since he was ratified in 2012 – leading the Boys in Blue to four consecutive league titles and three All-Ireland crowns in four years.
A short statement from the Dublin GAA County Board said: “We are delighted to announce that Jim Gavin has agreed to remain as manager of the Dublin Senior Football Team for another 2 years, until the conclusion of the 2019 championship.
“Jim and all of his backroom team have already contributed so much time and hard-work to the Dublin team and we thank them all for their continued efforts.”
Dublin will begin their Leinster Championship campaign on the weekend of June 3rd and 4th when they face the winners of Carlow and Leitrim.
