The importance of neutering your cat and NOT feeding wild cats

This week we visited the DSPCA to meet three-week-old Echo – a kitten found in a tyre yard at just five days old.

This time of year sees an increase in the amount of cats and kittens around housing estates and further afield.

Echo is now being cared for by the DSPCA, and will be going to a foster home for six weeks before being put up for adoption.

In our video we spoke to the DSPCA’s Head of Education, Gillian Bird about how to manage your own cat, the importance of neutering, and what NOT to do with wild cats.

You can find out more about fostering and adopting from the DSPCA HERE.
