BOTH Stephen Kenny and Jim Crawford, today, announced their respective Republic of Ireland Senior and Under 21 squads that will line out in all-important internationals later this month.

Crawford’s Under 21s are gearing up for a two-legged European Championship play-off against Israel, with the first leg taking place at Tallaght Stadium on Friday, September 23 and the second in Tel Aviv on Tuesday, September 27.
Fellow Tallaght man, Kenny has meanwhile named a 24-man panel for the UEFA Nations League matches against Scotland and Armenia later this month.

Among the 25-man Under 21 panel are Shamrocks Rovers defender, Andy Lyons and forward Mipo Odubeko from Tallaght.

St Patrick’s Athletic captain, Joe Redmond has also been included by Crawford after having been part of the squad in March.

Meanwhile Kenny’s senior panel for this month’s Nations League games includes Southampton goalkeeper, Gavin Bazunu.

The Firhouse man has been very solid for his new club so far this season and will hoping keep hold of the Number One international jersey.

Pushing him for that will be former Lucan United player, Mark Travers of Bournemouth and Bristol City shot-stopper, Max O’Leary, both of whom have also been named in the panel.

Ex-Cherry Orchard schoolboy, Nathan Collins is sure to figure in the defensive set-up and will be eager to build on his fine international form of late that featured a wonder goal against Ukraine back in June.

West Brom defender, Dara O’Shea will be hoping to play his part in the upcoming games that see Ireland travel to Hampden Park for their clash with Scotland on Saturday, September 24 before returning to Dublin to face Armenia in their final group game at the Aviva Stadium on Tuesday, September 27.
