Red Cow Wedding Copmpetition 09

How long are you together?

8 years

How long are you engaged?

6 years

How did you meet? (Chris)

When we were teenagers we both hung around in the same group of friends so we did know each other a while before I asked Kimberley out. Childhood sweethearts!

Who proposed?

Chris

How did you propose? (Chris)

I decided to propose on Christmas morning. We both love dogs so I got Kimberley a little Chihuahua puppy as a Christmas present. I hung a little box around the new puppy and the engagement ring was inside. Kimberley couldn’t believe it and she said yes!

What’s the most romantic thing you have ever done for each other? (Kimberley)

The most romantic thing Chris has ever done would have to be our engagement.

Not only did he propose with the cutest puppy in the world, he also played our song that we talked about being our first dance song at our wedding.

I couldn’t believe he remembered, it was so romantic, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.

What would your ‘first dance’ song be?

Joe Cocker and Jennifer Warnes – Love lifts us up (Where we belong)

What would it mean to win this prize? (Kimberley)

We would be so grateful if we won, it would mean so much to us and our family.

We’ve been through a lot these past few years and it would make our little family feel complete again due to the loss of our beautiful son Tyler two years ago.

We are blessed to have our five-year-old son that has just started school and would love to see mammy and daddy getting married.

Also, to be the first grandchild to walk down the aisle would be amazing. We have always dreamt of having a fairy-tale wedding and the Red Cow is such a beautiful venue, it would make my day perfect.

We can’t believe we have been given this golden opportunity to drink prosecco thanks to The Echo and take our vow in the Red Cow hotel.
