Large scale travel disruption as bus strike spreads
UPDATED 10:20am: Dublin Bus has said all secondary pickets have now been lifted and services are slowly returning to normal.
There is large scale travel disruption across the country this morning due to secondary picketing at a number of locations associated with the ongoing Bus Eireann dispute.
Most Dublin Bus routes have been affected, with the bus operator saying they are “experiencing severe disruption due to unexpected picketing by Bus Eireann employees.”
We wish to advise customers that due to Bus Eireann pickets at depots there will be serious disruption to Dublin Bus services this morning.

In the last few minutes Dublin Bus have shared route information, noting routes that have been affected and routes that are operating at a reduced level.

It is also being reported that pickets at several Dublin Bus depots will be lifted at 10am.
DART services and train services across the country have also been impacted this morning.
Meanwhile, LUAS services are running as normal.
