By Sean Heffernan

The South Dublin Local Enterprise Office is this month hosting a free seminar on the new online trading voucher scheme for businesses in the area, reports Sean Heffernan.

The national scheme launched by Minister for Communications Denis Naughten, aims to support companies in developing an online trading and marketing presence – and is available to companies with ten or less employees and a turnover of less than €2m.

Online Trading Vouchers

Applicants must also be registered and trading for at least 12 months and have a limited online trading presence.

Any small business which fits the criteria and is interest in selling and marketing their products or service online, but are in the dark as to how, this is the event for them.

On the day, participants will hear from various speakers as to how the voucher scheme works, and how to apply for it.
There will also be a questions and answers session at the end.

Taking place on Tuesday January 31 in the Local Enterprise offices at County Hall, Tallaght, the training seminar runs from 9.15am to 1pm.

Please note only one person per company can attend.
