In Clondalkin, this includes St Patrick’s Road, Deansrath Road, Glenfield Park/Drive, Woodford Road/Park and Grangeview Road, and a roundabout at the junction of Lindisfarne Grove and Lealand Road.

In Lucan, roads listed include Castle Riada Grove/Avenue, and Tullyhall Green/Avenue/Drive and bus cushions at Esker Meadow View and Castle Road.

Councillor Trevor Gilligan said: “South Dublin Council has to date identified the location of several traffic calming measures throughout the county in an effort to curb speeding. SDCC is hoping to get the advertisement out by early December.”

“The DRAFT advertisement for proposed traffic calming measures will be published shortly. This list includes submissions from Councillors, residents and significant requests recorded on the database.

“Also, any works outstanding from 2016, deputation, petitions and garda requests. The council hopes to proceed to advertising stage without any further changes, allowing the consultation process to take its course.”
