Man (40s) charged in relation to invoice redirect fraud

A MAN in his forties has this morning been charged in Tallaght Garda Station in relation to an invoice redirect fraud.

Gardai attached to the Garda National Economic Crime Bureau (GNECB) have charged a man (40s) who was arrested in February 2022 in relation to an invoice redirect fraud which occurred in December 2020.

According to a Garda statement issued, the man was arrested this morning, Wednesday, January 11, in the Tallaght area and was taken to Tallaght Garda Station where he has since been charged.

The man is due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice later today.
