Man arrested after Garda pursuit from Tallaght to Portlaoise

A MAN in his thirties has been arrested following a Garda pursuit that started in Killinarden in the early hours of this morning and finished in Portlaoise.

According to a Garda statement, a man was arrested near Carn in Portlaoise shortly after 3am this morning (Tuesday, April 2) following an alleged incident of criminal damage in Killinarden.

A Garda spokesperson said: “A male in his 30s was arrested near Carn, Portlaoise shortly after 3am this morning following an incident of criminal damage in Killinarden Heights in Tallaght earlier.
