
Man arrested in relation to Robert Ellis murder released without charge
A MAN in his 20s who was arrested last Tuesday morning (December 13) in relation to the murder of Robert Ellis at Liscarne Gardens in Clondalkin on November 1 was later released without charge.
The man was arrested and taken to Lucan Garda Station where he was detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
He was later released without charge and a file has been sent to the DPP.
Mr Ellis (26), from Neilstown Gardens in Clondalkin, was found dead in the back garden of a property in Liscarne Gardens after he was chased from a bonfire at St Mark’s housing estate in by four people at about 3.10am on November 1 last.
