Man with injuries discovered in Sean Walsh Park

GARDAI are appealing for witnesses and information following the discovery of a man in 40s with apparent injuries at a wooded area in Tallaght.
The man was discovered this morning at 8am in Sean Walsh Park by a passer-by who raised the alarm.
The scene in Sean Walsh Park is to be preserved overnight
He was taken by ambulance to Tallaght Hospital where his condition is understood to be critical.
The scene was preserved during the day for examination by officers investigating the incident.
The Echo understands officers are investigating how the man sustained his injuries.
