Man stole €820 in a series of withdrawals

A TALLAGHT man (32) who stole €820 by making a series of withdrawals from another man’s bank account has been told by Blanchardstown District Court to pay the money back.
Judge David McHugh placed Damien Moore on 12 months Probation Supervision.

Moore, from Cloonmore Close, Tallaght, pleaded guilty to stealing €200 from a named males account at the Dunnes Stores ATM in Saggart on May 9, 2016.
He also pleaded guilty to stealing €220 from another atm in Tallaght on April 22, 2016.
Moore also pleaded guilty to stealing €200 from the Bank of Ireland on April 18, 2016, and €220 from the AIB Citywest on May 4, 2016.
The court had heard that Moore had withdrawn four sums of cash using the injured party’s debit card. Moore was before Judge McHugh for a probation report.
Moore was represented by his solicitor, William Cadogan.
Reading the report, Judge McHugh said he would put Moore on Probation Supervision order for 12 months.
Sergeant Geraldine McMan-igan told the court that the compensation had not yet been paid. Judge McHugh said he would put the case back for a month for Moore to pay the monies back. He told Mr Cadogan: “I don’t want any further messing about.”
