Marble Arch pub owned by Louis Fitzgerald is put on the market

THE Marble Arch pub in Drimnagh leads the local properties that will be available for bidding in the upcoming Allsop Ireland auction, which will take place on October 22 in the RDS.
A reserve range of €750,000 to €800,000 is attached to the property, which extends to 10,753 sq.ft. and has a rental income of €21,500 per annum from Hackett’s bookmakers and advertisement hoarding located on the building.
The pub is well-known as part of the Louis Fitzgerald group, with Mr Fitzgerald confirming earlier this year that he planned to sell the pub.
It follows the sale of the Trader’s pub in Walkinstown, which sold for a price of €1.5 million.
Two commercial units, a retail unit in Inchicore and an office space in Kilmainham, are also highlights of the auction as demand for office space throughout Dublin continues to soar.
The Kilmainham office, located on Bows Lane, is a ground-floor unit that extends 550 sq.ft. and has a reserve range of €60,000 to €70,000.
It also includes two car-parking spaces located to the front and a security alarm and is a vacant possession with potential for conversion to residential use.
In Inchicore, the commercial unit is located on Emmet Road and has a floor space of 1,281 sq.ft. and is arranged over the ground floor.
The unit is part of a mixed-use development that includes residential accommodation on the first and second floors and has a reserve range of €70,000 to €80,000.
On the residential side of the auction, a vacant apartment located in Belfry Hall in Citywest is being offered with a reserve of €140,000 – it is a two-bedroom, third-floor apartment that extends to 700 sq.ft.
A mid-terrace, three-bedroom house in Knocklyon is also on offer with a reserve of €160,000 – it has a floorspace of 915 sq.ft. and is currently subject to a tenancy.
