May 2019 Team of the Month – Crumlin United Intermediates
CRUMLIN United’s intermediate team have enjoyed a superb season, winning the Leinster Senior League and also landing the Metropolitan Cup.
Martin Loughran’s side made it to every possible final this year, being pipped in both the FAI Intermediate and Charlie Cahill Cups, but they will be well pleased with their haul.

Certainly the convincing manner in which they landed the league title was most impressive as they finished the season unbeaten on that front and a massive 16 points ahead of their closest rivals Killester Donnycarney.
“The league was the one we really wanted” stressed Loughran.
“Having won it three years in a row and then not won it for four seasons, we felt that was something we needed to address” he said.
It was third place finishers and neighbouring rivals Bluebell whom they beat in a thrilling Metropolitan Cup decider.
