Memorial service to remember 16 residents
A MEMORIAL service takes place this week at the gates of Cherry Orchard Hospital (COH) for 16 elderly people who have died since divisive plans were announced to move residents from the hospital to a nursing home in Clondalkin.
The 16 were part of a group of 68 residents at elderly Willow and Sycamore units to be moved, including 10 who had been moved and six who were still in the facility.
