Motorcyclist rushed to hospital following road traffic accident

A MOTORCYLIST is receiving treatment for serious injuries following a road traffic accident in Killinarden on Wednesday.

Emergency services rushed to the scene at around 12.30pm following an accident involving car and a motorbike.

The motorcyclist was taken to Tallaght University Hospital where he is still receiving treatment according to gardai.

Roads in the area were blocked off by gardai during the incident.

A garda statement released The Echo said: “Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a road traffic collision at Killinarden Way in Tallaght at approximately 12.30pm this afternoon, Wednesday, 1st May 2024.

“The collision involved a car and motorbike.

“The motorcyclist, an adult male in his teens, was taken to Tallaght University Hospital where he is receiving treatment for serious injuries”.

Investigations are ongoing according to gardai.
