Naas Road closed overnight and one person taken to hospital after collision

One person was taken to hospital overnight after a crash on the Naas Road.

The incident occurred on the southbound carriageway, just past junction four (Rathcoole).

The road was closed for a period of time and diversions were in place as emergency services dealt with the collision.

One person was transported to hospital and the road eventually reopened.

The person’s condition is not known at this time.
