NetZero Group to create 1,000 Jobs as workforce set to double

Whitestown-based NetZero Group has announced a plan to double its workforce and deliver 1,000 new jobs in the next three years.

NetZero Group is based out of South City Business Park in Tallaght and plans to add 1,000 more jobs to its employee base and double revenue from more than €200 million to €400 million by 2030.

The group is a leading provider of building decarbonisation services in Ireland, and the announcement comes as enhanced Government grants drive a sharp rise in demand for home energy upgrades.

Applications are up 96 per cent so far this year, while individual applications have increased by 186 per cent compared with the first quarter of 2025.

NetZero Group CEO Rory O’Hanlon stated that the company believes demand “will increase significantly” in the coming years for home energy upgrades.

The Chief Exeuctive stated: “We believe demand for building decarbonisation will increase significantly over the coming years as more homeowners and businesses move beyond simply replacing ageing oil and gas boilers and instead invest in lower-carbon heating and energy solutions.

“Government support, rising energy awareness and the transition away from fossil fuel heating are creating a significant long-term growth opportunity. Our role is to make that transition simple for customers.

The Group installed approximately 7,300 heat pumps over the past 12 months, with the majority delivered in new-build homes.

The company also completed around 3,400 retrofit projects over the same period of time.

Recent grant changes are a positive step by the company, and its role is to ensure a smooth transition away from fossil fuel heating.

“Government support, rising energy awareness and the transition away from fossil fuel heating are creating a significant long-term growth opportunity. Our role is to make that transition simple for customers.

“NetZero Group has built a national platform with the scale, technical capability and service infrastructure to support customers throughout the entire lifecycle of their energy systems, from initial design and installation through to servicing, maintenance, repair, replacement and future upgrades.

“We see substantial opportunities for continued growth in Ireland and internationally. As the market continues to expand, we expect to further strengthen our market leadership by expanding our capabilities, service offering and geographic reach.”
