New free legal advice clinic to be established at Neilstown Road

A FREE legal advice outreach clinic is to be established in Clondalkin, to facilitate the expansion of an established independent law service.

Community Law & Mediation (CLM), a legal mediation service, has announced a Clondalkin clinic will be available from December 1.

Free-Legal-Advice 10 November 2016

The clinic, run in conjunction with Clondalkin Traveller Development Group, will take place on the first Thursday of every month.

It starts on December 1, from 9.30am to 11.30am in the Clondalkin Traveller Development Group offices, at the Clondalkin Enterprise Centre, on Neilstown Road.

Originally known as Coolock Community Law Centre when it was established in 1975, CLM has expanded its free legal advice services outside of their catchment area, including the recent addition of two new clinics in Clondalkin and Blanchardstown.

CLM have consulted with the Clondalkin Traveller Development Group, identifying key problems in areas such as housing, social welfare and homelessness.

The outreach clinic provides support to people, vindicating their rights, and holding public bodies to account for the decisions they make.

CLM managing solicitor Rose Wall will give advice and information on legal and human rights issues, including, but not limited to, housing, social welfare, homelessness and discrimination.

Residents can make an appointment for the clinic through the Clondalkin Traveller Development Group, on 457 5124.
