New layout for roads at Citywest Shopping Centre under consideration

A NEW layout is currently under consideration for the roads at the Citywest Shopping Centre, The Echo has learned.

The local authority was asked for a report on the new road layout by Sinn Féin councillor Dermot Richardson at a recent council meeting.

Responding, council management said: “The new road layout at the Citywest Avenue/ Fortunestown Lane junction is currently under design with the final design expected to be complete in August 2017.

“The scheme will be offered for tender in late 2017 and the works are expected to commence on site in spring 2018.”
