Survey will assess volume of cars being parked in estates by Luas users

A SURVEY will be carried out in areas along the Luas line to assess the number of cars being parked in estates by tram commuters.

Last month, Sinn Féin councillor Cora McCann tabled a motion which asked that a survey be carried out in areas along the Luas line.

It is hoped the survey will help assess the volume of cars being parked in estates and on main roads – which Cllr McCann claims is a “health and safety concern” for local residents.

South Dublin County Council has confirmed that it will carry out a survey and prepare a report, which will be brought to the Traffic Management meeting when finalised.
