North Clondalkin Sports Fest: Learn what activities are available in your area…

SOUTH Dublin County Sports Partnership (SDCSP), in conjunction with Dublin Dun Laoghaire Education & Training Board, is hosting a North Clondalkin Sports Hub Festival on May 7.

The free inclusive health and wellbeing event will take place for all ages in Collinstown Park Sports Centre, Clondalkin, on Saturday, May 7, from 12pm to 3pm.

The day is to highlight the sport, wellness and physical activity opportunities available within the area of North Clondalkin.

SDCSP is inviting local community organisations, sports clubs and physical activity businesses to demonstrate their respective sport or activity and provide information to attendees about how they can participate locally.

Each activity will have a dedicated space and will also provide information or demonstrations on how their sport can be adapted to include the participation of people with disabilities.

On the day there will be a wide range of free activities to try such as boxing, self- defence, yoga, learn to cycle, Teqball, dance and more.

Bar Monkey will also be hosting their club’s calisthenics competition between 12pm and 3pm which would be well worth a look, as well as providing workshops for the public to participate in.

The Collinstown Park Sports Centre is located on the grounds of Collinstown Park Community College.
