One man arrested after €80,000 worth of cannabis seized in Tallaght

Gardai have seized a significant amount of cannabis after a search in the Fettercairn area of Tallaght yesterday.

In a statement from a garda spokesperson said: “Gardaí from the Divisional Organised Crime Bureau and the Special Crime Task Force targeting organised crime have seized Cannabis Resin and with an estimated street value of €80,000.

“A search was carried out at a house in the Drumcairn area of Tallaght on Friday night.

“A man in his late 20s was arrested. He is currently being held in Ballyfermot Garda Station under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.”
