One person taken to hospital after four-car collision on Kiltipper Road

EMERGENCY services dealt with a four-car road traffic accident on Kiltipper Road at lunch time on Saturday.

The Echo understands that one person was taken to Tallaght University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Dublin Fire Brigade personal from Tallaght and an ambulance rushed to the incident around 1pm.

Kiltipper Road was closed to traffic as emergency services dealt with the situation.

Dublin Fire Brigade said: “Earlier today firefighter/paramedics responded to a four car road traffic collision in Kiltipper.”

Gardai also attended the accident.

A Garda statement said: “Gardaí attended the scene of a road traffic collision in the Tallaght area earlier today, 3rd April 2021.

“Emergency services also attended the scene and no serious injuries have been reported to Gardaí at this time.

“Enquiries are ongoing”.
