Over €2.5m raised for children’s charities by Woodies in seven years

WOODIES has raised €2.5 million in the last seven years for children’s charities in Ireland.

Their 2022 fundraising campaign kicks off Sunday July 17 to August 13 – in support of Childline by ISPCC, Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland, Down Syndrome Ireland, and Make-A-Wish Ireland

As Woodie’s launch their annual Woodie’s Heroes campaign, their hope is to have their biggest and best year of fundraising to date.

Each of the four charities has been carefully selected using a colleague vote shared with all 1,600-plus Woodie’s colleagues earlier this year.

In 2021, Woodie’s surpassed its target and raised over €536,000 for children’s charities.

All monies raised goes directly to the four charities and will be divided evenly among them.

Donations can be made in store by adding €1, €2 or €5 to your bill or online at woodies.ie.
