People really lost the plot over delays on the M50 today
A truck shedding its load on the M50 today pretty much brought the southside of the capital to a standstill, with motorists on their commute home and everyone else sitting in long delays.
There were lengthy tailbacks from the Westlink Bridge to Dundrum at one point, and people took to Twitter to voice their anger and frustration at a problem that seems to be a daily one now.
One driver even appeared to abandon his vehicle at the Red Cow interchange in the left lane, with that causing even further delays.
Eventually the road was cleared and fully reopened, but traffic remained rediculously heavy on all roads for some time.

If all that was not enough, one eagle-eyed driver even spotted another using his tyre for a very unconventional reason.
Slip road going onto m50 at Red Cow. Lorry driver availaing of the traffic in front to get out of the cab and piss on his own wheel #Dublin
