Permission being sought for 29 apartments on Ballyfermot Rd

PROPOSALS for the construction of 29 apartments on the Ballyfermot Road have been submitted to Dublin City Council.

Applicant Orivo Properties LTd is seeking permission for the construction of five two-bed apartments, 12 one-bed apartments and two studio apartments.

The apartments are to be housed in a single part four-storey and part five-storey block.

The proposal includes a public plaza to Ballyfermot Road, and the demolition of the existing boundary wall to Ballyfermot Road.

The construction of a vehicular and pedestrian entrance, to give access to 60 bicycle parking spaces and 12 surface car parking spaces, forms part of the application.

Provision of all landscaping, surface car parking, infrastructure works, and associated site works and services, is included.

A decision on the application, which was submitted on December 2, has not yet been made by Dublin City Council.
