Plans lodged for construction of five-bed homes on Knocklyon

PLANS for the construction of four five-bedroom houses on the Knocklyon Road have been submitted to South Dublin County Council.

Developer Pathway Homes lodged the application last month, seeking planning permission for the develop-ment of the 2.5-storey, semi-detached houses.

Provision of associated car-parking, private open space, site landscaping and connection to existing services is included.

A vehicular access from the Knocklyon Road and all associated site development works form part of the plans in the application.

A decision on the application is due from South Dublin County Council by January 30, 2023.

In an unrelated planning application, Pathway Homes Ltd was granted an extension for the duration of planning permission last year for a development in Ballyfermot.

The development at Cloverhill Road includes the construction of 43 houses and a new single-storey changing facility for Ballyfermot United Sports and Social Club.
