Plans to convert off-licence into restaurant/takeaway is approved

PLANS to convert an off-licence in Templeogue for restaurant/ takeaway use has been given the green light by the council.

Applicant C&E O’Reilly Hyland Partnership requested permission to change the use of the off-licence, which trades as O’Briens, to a restaurant with associated seating and takeaway.

The application, which was received by South Dublin County Council in April, includes the removal existing shopfronts for the installation of a new shopfront inclusive of aluminium windows, double doors, timber shopfront and all associated development works.

Appeals against the decision will be accepted by An Bord Pleanala within four weeks of the decision date, which was June 16.

Permission was previously granted to change the use of the premises to a coffee shop.
