Quick-thinking by gardai and bystanders saves man

THE actions of quick-thinking bystanders meant a man who suffered cardiac arrest in Bohernabreena last Sunday, June 16, was conscious and breathing by the time paramedics arrived.

The man, believed to be in his 70s, collapsed in front of St Anne’s GAA Club and was immediately attended to by gardaí who were in the area for the Blessing of the Graves in Bohernabreena Cemetery.
