Clonburris National School teacher Paula Galvin, is a member of the FairTrade committee and started the campaign with students in 2013 to support a fairer deal for workers all over the world.

Cllr Timmons continued: “It was Paula Galvin and the students of Clonburris that successfully made Clondalkin a Fairtrade town. I am delighted to have worked with them to ensure success.

“What the children have learned and achieved will stay with them through there life. Its great they have learned so much about social justice. The future is safe in their hands.”
