Rathcoole ‘Laundry Basket’ premises on sale for €200k

A RETAIL unit in Rathcoole Shopping Centre that is currently occupied by The Laundry Basket has gone on the market with a guide price of €200,000.

The Echo contacted The Laundry Basket, and the owner, Tony O’Connor, confirmed that when the unit housing The Laundry Basket is sold it will be vacated.

At that point, laundry and dry-cleaning services will then both be provided at the existing O’Connor Dry Cleaning unit in the shopping centre.

The Laundry Basket unit is for sale by private treaty and has been brought to the market by the commercial division of real estate company Ray Cooke.

The unit is approximately 720 sq ft in size and is comprised of a customer/ reception area to the front with a large open-plan unit and toilet facilities to the rear.

According to the property listing, the unit forms part of a vibrant parade of retail and office units that generates a large volume of passing footfall.

The unit also benefits from having ample customer parking to the front of the property and occupying a prominent position in the shopping centre.
