Regulator says rejected housing sites represents a significant opportunity
THE OPR has told the council it “risks frustrating the implementation of national housing policy” if contested sites rejected in Clondalkin and Lucan are not revisited.
The Office of the Planning Regulator has pointed to proposals turned down by local councillors in June at the Coldcut, Finnstown Castle and St Edmundsbury and noted that some of these are “critical” to meet the housing needs of the state.
