The woman, who has an address in Tallaght, had pleaded not guilty to failing to comply with a school attendance notice to ensure her son’s attendance at a secondary school in Tallaght.

The case was before Judge Patricia McNamara to set a hearing date.

A solicitor for Tusla, told Judge McNamara that he thought the prosecution case would only take 10 minutes.

Judge McNamara adjourned the case for two weeks for hearing.
