Santa Claus is on his way to Liffey Valley wonderland

LIFFEY Valley Shopping Centre announced an array of family festive activities, including a free Santa experience and momento photo, which will be available to customers every Saturday and Sunday in the run-up to Christmas.

Supported by Sing Ireland, Santa Claus will be arriving in the centre at 10am on Saturday, December 3.

Little shoppers are also invited to express-post their letter to the North Pole for the chance to win a €500.00 voucher for the centre.

Liffey Valley’s Western Plaza has been transformed into a Christmas wonderland where local vendors are showcasing a range of gift ideas, selling mouth-watering festive treats and unique decorative crafts.

Denis O’Connell, Centre Director at Liffey Valley Shopping Centre said: “We’re delighted to be kicking off the seasonal celebrations here in Liffey Valley with news of our exciting Christmas market. This is a great platform for local and independent businesses to showcase their offerings, while delivering a truly memorable experience to our customers – complementing the range of choice we’re offering shoppers right across the centre.

“In the midst of what is a difficult time for so many, we hope our donation to The Society of St. Vincent de Paul on behalf of customers visiting our free Santa experience, will help the organisation deliver supports to local families most in need over the coming weeks and would like to take this opportunity to wish all our visitors a safe and happy Christmas.”

In addition to the free Santa experience and the Christmas market, The SVP Giving Tree will also be returning to the centre, giving customers the chance to make their own valuable donations to those most in need.

Launched on December 1, with a live performance from Clondalkin Youth Band, shoppers can expect to enjoy weekly entertainment with live music, magicians and stilt walkers taking to the mall every Thursday in the lead up to the big day.
