Scooters and scramblers pursuit by gardai welcomed by public
A CHANGE in policy where gardai can now pursue scramblers, scooters and electric bikes, has been welcomed by TD Mark Ward, who feels it is an important step in tackling crime and anti-social behaviour.
Garda Commissioner Drew Harris confirmed the policy change this week, with gardai now able to pursue bikes and scooters where they had previously been forbidden to do so.
