Seachtain na Gaeilge: Community Council join in with the Tallaght focus on ‘are dteanga féin’

TALLAGHT Community Council ( TCC) joined in with the Tallaght focus on “ar dteanga féin”  last week for Seachtan na Gaeilge by launching a new Tallaght Tidy Towns logo as Gaeilge.

The Tidy Towns crew were delighted to showcase the new sign, designed by TCC and produced by Apt Signs on St Patrick’s Day at their Sunday Tidy Towns litter pick.

TCC volunteers also unveiled their latest upcycle project on St Patrick’s day, “Oisín”, the green upcycled bike.

The bike was kindly donated by Jodan Kaye McNulty and upcycled.  “Oisín” has taken pride of place at Main Road and Greenhills Road.

New volunteers of all abilities and experience are always welcome to join Tallaght Tidy Towns. Children must be fully supervised by a responsible adult.

The crew meet outside Cafe Aón Scéal on Wednesdays and Sunday for a 1 hour session. See their social channels for more details.
