BLESSINGTON brothers Sean and Conor Price have continued to churn out music since their appearance on the X Factor in 2017 and their latest single is sure to kick up a ‘Storm’.

Over the last year, the brothers have worked tirelessly in studios all around Europe to keep producing the best music they can, with the catchy pop song ‘Storm’ being released last Friday.

Speaking about how they faired over the last 12 months in the music industry, the lads told The Echo about how it’s not all that it seems.

“It’s been so much fun working in the music industry. We’ve met so many great, talented, friendly people,” they said.

“I don’t think the music industry is as intimidating as it is made out to be but you definitely have to work super hard to be heard and make a name for yourself.”

Coming off the back of a busy 2018, Conor and Sean, now 19 and 16, have another jam-packed year on the horizon with an Irish tour and EP due in the summer.

“You can expect to hear loads of new music from us this year. ‘Storm’ is our first release of 2019 and it has been really well received by radio and media. We are planning the release another single in April followed by an EP this summer.”

Co-produced with Wild Youth’s Conor O’Donohoe, the lads told us what it was like to record the single with another creative from the Irish music scene.

The brothers explained: “Writing with Conor from Wild Youth was really fun and organic. We wrote ‘Storm’ in a couple of hours at our home studio and it all came about very naturally. We were all set on a concept early on and it came together very quick.”

As part of their Irish tour, the lads are set to stop off in Dublin’s Olympia Theatre on June 29th before they finish up in August.

“We are so buzzing to play in the Olympia this summer,” said the duo.

“It is one of Dublin’s most renowned venues and we have seen so many of our favourite artists play there. It’s going to be a very memorable night.

“Dublin is a great place to have a concert. In 2018 we played the 3 Arena, Vicar Street and the Helix. The crowds were really great and the atmosphere was incredible. Tickets are going fast so be warned.”

‘Storm’ is available now on all music listening platforms and tickets for their 12-stop Irish tour are available from www.seanandconorpricemusic.com
