By Maurice Garvey
A SECRET garden has been created in Cherry Orchard to cater for children with autism, reports Maurice Garvey,
Sinn Féin councillor Daithí Doolan was with Dublin City Council’s Cherry Orchard Project Manager David Donovan recently at the opening of the St Ultan’s National School secret garden.
Cllr Daithí Doolan said: “This is a wonderful development. This secret garden is built specifically to meet the needs of children with autism.
“It allows children to play, learn and develop in the safety of the garden.
“A big congratulations to those who had the vision to develop this garden at the heart of our community.”
