Shamrock Rovers appoint new Chief Operations Officer

Shamrock Rovers have announced the appointment of Siobhan Keane as their new Chief Operating Officer.

A statement released by the club today stated that Ms Keane enters the role having spent a decade working with the FAI as Marketing and Events Manager.

The statement said: “Siobhan will bring considerable experience to the position, having held the role of Sponsorship, Marketing and Events Manager with the FAI for 10 years.

“Prior to this Siobhan, who holds a UEFA Diploma of Advanced Studies in Football Management from the University of Lausanne, worked as Commercial Manager with the FAI and also organised events for the Special Olympics in Dublin in 2003.

“She also played a key role in the production and submission of the successful Dublin UEFA Euro 2020 Bid document.

“Siobhan’s considerable commercial experience and years of dealing with major blue chip sponsors will be of great benefit to Shamrock Rovers as Ireland’s biggest and most successful football brand.

“We look forward to welcoming Siobhan to Tallaght in January.”
