Short story masterclass at Tallaght Library this February

BUDDING writers are invited to take part in a short story masterclass being held in Tallaght Library this February.

The masterclass will be led by the writer Shauna Gilligan, whose work has been published in The Stinging Fly and the Cobalt Review, among many others.

Over the course of six weeks the participants will explore how to write long and short stories, edit like an editor, read like a writer and discuss and learn from short stories from around the world.

The course will take place every Tuesday for six weeks, with the first session starting on Tuesday February 7, from 10am to 12 noon in Tallaght Library.

Participants must be able to attend all six classes, and booking is essential.
