St Vincent de Paul Giving Tree at Liffey Valley

THE St Vincent De Paul Giving Tree is back in Liffey Valley, with customers invited to support individuals and families in need locally this Christmas.

There’s just two days left to contribute to the Giving Tree, which will be in the shopping centre until Thursday evening, December 8.

Members of the Clondalkin, Ballyfermot and West County branch organised the weeklong collection, with all donations supporting local families this Christmas.

This year, customers are invited to choose a card from the Giving Tree located beside the Customer Service Desk and donate a gift card – giving the gift of choice to people and families this year.

Members of the local branch of SVP told The Echo that the gifts donated will “greatly help families and individuals in the local area”.

They also said that the demand and need among families is this year “higher than ever”.

The Giving Tree was launched by a live performance from the Clondalkin Youth Band.
