Stab victim recovering in hospital after vicious attack in broad daylight
Investigations are continuing this morning into the stabbing of a 19-year-old man in Crumlin yesterday evening.
The incident happened on St Agnes Park at approximately 7:30pm. Reports suggest a group of men attacked the victim with an array of weapons including golf clubs.
In a statement a Garda spokesperson said: “Gardai at Crumlin are investigating a serious public order incident and assault at St Agnes Park Dublin 12 at approximately 7.30pm on Monday July 24th 2017.
“A 19-year-old man received a number of stab wounds during the incident. The injured man was taken to St James Hospital.
“His injuries are not life threatening. The scene was examined by local scenes of crime officers.
“No arrests have been made and investigations are continuing.”
