Students honoured for incredible work and commitment

TU DUBLIN Tallaght Campus held their Clubs and Societies Awards 2022 on Thursday, May 19, at the Red Cow Inn Hotel.

Those involved in College Clubs and Societies within the college were asked to propose students and staff for awards based on initiative, commitment, achievement and humour.

The Selection Committee then selected largely from this panel those to receive awards and certificates.

On the evening, there were a number of awards given out to students for their incredible work and commitment to the college’s clubs and societies.

Speaking about the awards, sports and recreation officer at TU Dublin Tallaght, Tim O’Connor told The Echo: “The awards night went really well, it was the first time in three years that we could all get together, so it was a big occasion.

“It was a night to celebrate all of the clubs, societies, and arts and culture and everyone involved in them so it was great to be able to do that.”
