Talent show celebrates school life at TCS
TALLAGHT Community School is bringing its annual talent show back to the stage for the first time since November 2019.
Called TCS Factor, the highly anticipated event will take place in the school on Thursday, March 30, at 7pm with tickets costing €5 each.
The show is billed as a strong display of the extra-curricular activities that the school’s pupils engage in, and as a way for them to display their diverse range of talents.
Michelle Hegarty, the home school community liaison in TCS, told The Echo that TCS Factor also feeds into a wider celebration of 50 years since the foundation of the school.
“The academic year 22/23 marks the celebration of 50 years of ‘Excellence in Education’ for Tallaght Community School,” said Ms Hegarty.
“Over the past 50 years, students have been lucky to be part of the many wonderful classes and witnessed the innovation in the classroom, but they have also experienced much more than that.
“Students past and present all remember the other extra and co-curricular activities that students have had the opportunity to experience in the last 50 years and continue to experience.”
Ms Hegarty added: “The TCS Factor celebrates the co-curricular school life in Tallaght Community School.
“The school show is a wonderful opportunity to showcase the vast range of talents that lie within our student body.”
Tickets for the show are now on sale and are available for purchase directly from the school or on the night.
