Tallaght-based company Pure Telecoms has this morning announced the creation of 30 new jobs as part of a €2 million investment into its Citywest operation.

The announcement has been made as Pure Telecom, one of Ireland’s leading telecoms company, aims for significant growth in its residential and business customer base, with the company targeting an increase from 30,000 to 45,000 customers over the next year – which could yield additional revenues of around €6.5 million.

Speaking about the announcement, Paul Connell, a director at Pure Telecom, said: “We’ve achieved consistent year-on-year growth and this announcement is a statement of our ambition to grow our business very strongly.

“We’re looking to add people to our team who have the hunger, drive and dynamism to build a successful career in telecoms. We want people who share the same values that have helped Pure Telecom grow to the company it is today. For us it is all about passion for customer service.

“We’re transforming people’s expectations about the level of customer service they should expect from their telecoms services provider.  We provide a very simple mix of a very responsive service, together with the best possible telecoms solution for each individual customer. We have the huge advantage of not physically owning our own network, which means that we can effectively act as a telecoms broker, not constrained by any single network.”

The 30 positions,  which will be filled by 2017, are to be spread across the areas of customer care, sales and technical support and will include a national sales manager, two regional sales managers and three supervisory roles.

The significant investment will see the company grow to 80 employees in total.
