Tallaght Central has second highest rate of Covid-19 cases in past 14 days

TALLAGHT Central has the second highest rate of Covid-19 in the state, according to the first national breakdown of incidence of the disease by local area.

For the first time, data on the real-time incidence of the disease by local electoral area has been published on the Government’s online Covid-19 data hub.

The information is designed to inform people about the spread of the disease in their area, thereby enabling them to tailor their behaviour appropriately.

Confirmed cases in the Bohernabreena-Firhouse areas has been at 19 in the past 14 days while Rathfarnham and Templeogue account for 40 cases.

46 cases have been confirmed in the Clondalkin area in the past 14 days while Tallaght South has 49 confirmed cases. 

Tallaght central has big numbers confirmed at 76 which is the second highest in the country behind Blanchardstown-Mulhuddart. 

Palmerstown- Fonthill has 38 cases while the Lucan area has 28 cases reported. The Ballyfermot-Drimnagh area has 53 confirmed cases
