Tallaght man accused of dealing heroin and cocaine

A TALLAGHT man accused of dealing in heroin and cocaine has been sent forward for trial to the Circuit Court.

Adam Gear was before Judge Patricia McNamara in Tallaght Court for service of his book of evidence.

Gear , aged 26, with an address Castle Lawns, Tallaght, is charged with simple possession of heroin, possession of heroin for sale or supply, simple possession of cannabis and possession of cannabis for sale or supply at his address on January 30, 2016.

He is also charged with possession of heroin for sale or supply with a value of €13,000 or more and possession of cannabis for sale or supply with a value of €13,000 or more at the above address also on January 30, 2016.

A Solicitor for the DPP told the court that the book was ready to be served. He said the DPP had consented for Gear to be sent forward for trial to the next sitting of Dublin Circuit Court.

Judge McNamara sent Gear forward on bail to the next sitting of the Circuit Court.
